Terms of Service

Acceptable use

You must have a legitimate Instagram Professional account. You agree not to use DropTh.is to:

• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk marketing
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Send misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent content
• Distribute malware or phishing links
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Circumvent messaging limits or rate controls

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without notice.

Instagram and Meta platform compliance

DropTh.is operates within Meta's platform policies. By using our service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• DMs are only sent in direct response to a user-initiated action (commenting a keyword on your post)
• No follow-up messages, drip campaigns, or bulk messaging is permitted
• We enforce a limit of 1 DM per user per rule per 24-hour period
• Meta may revoke API access at any time, which would pause DM delivery
• You are responsible for ensuring your DM content complies with Meta's Platform Terms and Instagram Terms of Use

Messaging limits

To prevent abuse and comply with Meta's policies, the following limits are enforced:

• Free plan: 1 active drop, 50 DMs per month
• Pro plan: Unlimited drops, 2,000 DMs per month
• Per-user limit: 1 DM per commenter per rule per 24 hours (duplicate comments are ignored)

When you reach your plan's DM limit, drops are paused until the next billing cycle. No overage charges apply.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@dropth.is.

Content and DMs

You are solely responsible for the content of your automated DMs, including the destination URLs you link to. DropTh.is does not review or moderate message content. You agree not to send messages that are misleading, illegal, or violate any applicable laws or Meta's platform policies.

Billing and cancellation

Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual). You can cancel anytime from your dashboard or billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Pro access until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

Service availability

We aim for high reliability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. DM delivery depends on Meta's Instagram API availability and your account standing. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by Meta's services, Instagram outages, or changes to Meta's API or policies.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to DropTh.is at any time if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or if Meta revokes our API access. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

DropTh.is is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost revenue, engagement, or business opportunities.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email.
